Silas Omega

Silas Omega is an American recording artist from the East side of Pittsburgh, Pa. Although native to the East Coast, Silas is deeply rooted in New Orleans, La where he's been residing since 2014.  Silas plays piano, trumpet, and is soon looking to pick up saxophone and bass. As a multi-instrumentalist it is only natural that he produces a lot of his own music, as well as other acts.  Silas grew up listening to the sounds of Michael Jackson, Hall and Oates, Tears for Fears, The Neptunes, Rick James, and Kanye West to name a few. The major influences can be heard in the heavy distortion and synth driven tracks on all of his projects.  With a style that's poetic and illustrious, Silas OMEGA conceptualizes experimental R&B, Hip Hop, Pop, and Neo- Soul to produce an urban sound.
